Jewish and arabic music and dance in western mass

Shalom Habibi was born when Karen and Jamil discovered how fun it was to share a love of the same music. We began playing every Tuesday in the basement of the Bangs Center in Amherst in 2005. Jamil said the music gave him new life and this site is dedicated to the memory of the magic of making music together.
